What’s New in WI1 CRM — Week of 27 September 2026

Each week we share a quick update on what we’ve been improving behind the scenes at WI1. This week’s change is small but meaningful — it’s one of those quiet improvements that makes the AI feel noticeably smarter when it’s handling your emails.

The AI can now read specific emails directly

Until now, when you asked WI1’s AI to help with something email-related, it could only search for emails — hunting by subject line or sender name. That works well most of the time, but it meant the AI sometimes had to make its best guess about which email you were referring to.

Now the AI can go one step further: it can fetch and read a specific email directly, not just search for it. This means when a task involves a particular message — say, a quote from a supplier, a follow-up from a customer, or a complaint that needs a reply — the AI can look up that exact email and work from the real content, rather than relying on a search match.

What this means for your business day-to-day:

  • Ask WI1 to “summarise the email from Hendersons about the project quote and draft a reply” — the AI can now pull up that exact message and respond to what it actually says.
  • If you’re handling a customer complaint and ask the AI to “look at the email thread from Mrs Patel and suggest a response”, it can find and read the right email precisely, without you needing to paste in the content yourself.
  • Email tasks delegated to WI1 are more reliable — less room for the AI to mix up similarly-named senders or subject lines when it can go straight to the specific message.

It’s a behind-the-scenes improvement, but one that makes your AI feel sharper and more trustworthy whenever emails are involved.

That’s all for this week — a focused but useful step forward. As always, if you have questions about anything in WI1, you can ask your AI directly or get in touch with us. We’ll be back next week with whatever we’ve shipped next.
