Every week we make small (and sometimes not-so-small) improvements to WI1 CRM based on real feedback from real business owners. Some of these updates are on wi1.com itself, and some are changes you’ll notice the moment you log in to the app at crm.wi1.com. Here’s what’s changed over the past couple of weeks — plain English, no jargon, and a few ideas on how you might put each one to use.
A new Security page, so you can answer “is my data safe?” in one link
We’ve added a dedicated Security page to wi1.com that lays out, in plain terms, how WI1 keeps your business’s data safe — things like account isolation, how logins and authentication work, how data from connected AI tools is handled, how payments are processed, and where your data actually lives.
Why this matters for you: if a customer, a business partner, or your own accountant ever asks “how do you know WI1 is secure?”, you now have one clear page to point them to instead of trying to explain it yourself from memory. It’s also useful internally — if you’re the one reassuring a nervous client that your CRM is trustworthy, you can simply share the link.
Sharper, fairer comparison pages if you’re weighing WI1 against other CRMs
We’ve gone back through our “WI1 vs…” comparison pages (Attio, HubSpot, Salesforce, monday CRM, and Zoho CRM) and rewritten them to be clearer, more balanced, and genuinely useful — rather than reading like a one-sided sales pitch. Each page now gives an honest picture of where a bigger, more established CRM might have more bells and whistles, while explaining plainly where WI1’s simpler, all-in-one, AI-agent-first approach saves you time and money.
Why this matters for you: if you’re currently choosing between CRMs — or have colleagues who keep asking “why not just use HubSpot/Salesforce?” — these pages now give you a fair, easy-to-share answer you can send along rather than having to make the case yourself. They’re also written to work well when people ask AI assistants (like ChatGPT) to compare CRM options, so WI1 shows up clearly and accurately in those answers too.
No more cut-off X/Twitter posts for Premium accounts
If you post to X (formerly Twitter) from inside WI1’s Social page, you’ll have seen the usual 280-character countdown as you type. That limit is a Twitter/X rule, not a WI1 one — and if you or your business has a Premium X subscription, X itself allows much longer posts. WI1’s Social page now recognises this: the character countdown still shows so you always know where you stand, but it now reflects the real limit for your account instead of assuming everyone is capped at 280.
Why this matters for you: if you’re on X Premium and you’ve ever had to trim a good post down to fit an old-style limit that no longer applies to you, that’s gone. You can write a fuller update, a longer customer story, or a more detailed announcement in one post instead of splitting it into a thread.
That’s it for this fortnight
One of these updates is something you’ll see on wi1.com if a customer or contact ever asks you to prove WI1 is trustworthy or explain why you picked it. The other is a change you’ll notice the next time you log in to crm.wi1.com — a Social page that no longer trims your X posts if you don’t need it to. As always, if there’s something you’d like to see us build or explain better, just let us know. More next week.
